Meaning of Chon-Ji:
CHON- JI means literally “the Heaven the Earth”. It is, in the Orient, interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore, it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consists of two similar parts; one to represent the Heaven and the other the Earth

Starting Position: Parallel ready stance

(W) = Walking Stance  (L) = L Stance

  1. Turn to the left low block left hand (W).
  2. Step forward punch with the right hand (W).
  3. Turn clockwise to the right, right leg in front of you, Low block with right hand (W).
  4. Step forward punch with the left hand.
  5. Turn anti-clockwise to the front, left leg in front of you, low block with left hand (W).
  6. Step forward punch with the right hand (W).
  7. Turn clockwise to back of hall right leg in front of you, low block with right hand (W).
  8. Step forward punch with left hand (W).
  9. Turn anti- clockwise to your left, left leg in front of you, mid block with the left hand (L).
  10. Step forward walking stance and punch with the right hand (W).
  11. Turn clockwise to opposite side of hall with right leg in front of you, mid block with right hand (L).
  12. Step forward punch with left hand (W).
  13. Turn anti-clockwise to back of hall left leg in front of you, mid block with left hand (L).
  14. Step forward punch with right hand (W).
  15. Turn clockwise around to front of hall with right leg in front of you, mid block with the right hand (L).
  16. Step forward, punch with the left hand (W).
  17. Step forward, punch with the right hand (W).
  18. Step back, punch with the left hand (W).
  19. Step back, punch with the right hand (W).    SHOUT

END: Bring the left foot back to a ready posture
