4 Direction Punch – Part One


Remember: All moves in this pattern are done in a Gunnun Sogi (Walking Stance). That means that your front knee is bent & your back knee is straight.

1. Step forward  with right leg and punch with right hand.

2. Turn to the left and put your right leg behind you.
Najunde Makgi (Low block) over left leg with left hand.
3. Step forward with right leg and punch with right hand.

4. Turn to the left and put your right leg behind.
Najunde Makgi (Low block) over left leg with left hand.
5. Step forward with right leg and punch with right hand.

6. Turn to the left and put your right leg behind.
Najunde Makgi (Low block) over left leg with left hand.

7. Step forward with right leg and punch with right hand and  Kihap (SHOUT!)

END: Return to Parallel Ready Stance

1. Step forward  with left leg and punch with left hand.

2. Turn to the right and put your left leg behind you.

3. Step forward with left leg and punch with left hand.

4. Turn to the right and put your left leg behind.
Najunde Makgi (Low block) over right leg with right hand.
5. Step forward with left leg and punch with left hand.

6. Turn to the right and put your left leg behind.
Najunde Makgi (Low block) over right leg with right hand.

7. Step forward with left leg and punch with left hand and  Kihap (SHOUT!)

END: Return to Parallel Ready Stance
