Black Belt Exam 2009 – Details Confirmed
Due to our examiner’s flight arrival times, this year’s Warrior Tae Kwon Do Black Belt Examination will be held in Ballineen Community Hall (B.E.D.A. Hall) on Friday 13th of November, not in Kilbrittain on Thursday as previously proposed.
Students should be at the hall for 6pm; do not be late. Bring your doboks on hangers as you will not be wearing them until the examiner arrives.
A light class, led by Mr Barry O’Mahony, will be held for approximately half and hour to allow students to warm up and familiarise themselves with the venue. During this class, students will wear tracksuits, not their doboks.
Following the short class, Mr. O’Mahony will direct students to leave the floor to change into their doboks. Once dressed in their doboks, students will return to the floor and assemble in straight lines.
Master Harrison and Mr. Dan O’Mahony will enter the hall. The oath will be taken and students will be dismissed to the back of the hall. The exam will then commence.
Exam candidates must have the correct equipment for the examination. We would advise all students taking this exam to complete a checklist prior to leaving for the venue.
Your list should include:
- Clean, Ironed Dobok (White Jacket AND White Trousers) – With Black Collar for 1st Degrees.
- Correct Belt – With Red Stripes for Junior 1st Degrees and Gold Stripes for Senoir 1st Degrees.
- Hand Pads
- Foot Pads
- Shin Guards
- Head Guard
- Groin Guard (for males)
We wish you all the best of luck in your examination!
